Women's U18 Nova Scotia Dominates the Competition

Team Nova Scotia has defeated every team in the division during the first round of play. The question is will they be able to stay humble enough to do it again tomorrow. Megan Oldford scored 3 tries today. Two of which were the only points earned in the match against PEI. (10 - 0) Facing New Brunswick Christa Dunn, Riley Kitchin, and Ali Munroe also were able to bring in tries for a 25-nil victory. These ladies are going to be hard to stop.
Men's U18 Ontario vs Ontario???

Not exactly but Both the Eastern Ontario and Ontario U17 teams are packing a huge punch on the field. Eastern Ontario, as a whole, has 7 separate try scores out of the two games they played today. Ontario U17 will be facing off against Newfoundland at 9:00am tomorrow morning on the Main Field. We have only seen the Newfoundland U18 team take the field once today but it definitely looks like they will be making a scene tomorrow.
Women's U20 Vanessa Duffley and Olivia Demerchant run them in...

Vanessa Duffley and Olivia Demerchant are drilling up points for New Brunswick in the Women's U20 division. Their top contenders will most definitely be The Ontario team to which they face on the main field at 1:00pm on Saturday. This Ontario team has a lot of talent and their is a long list of players that have run in tries so far this tournament. I believe this will be an extremely exciting match to see. Team Nova Scotia are holding their own on the pitch but it will take a little more aggression to continue to contend these two teams.
Men's U16 Quentin Chown Quispamsis leaves his mark...

In the Men's Under 16 Division New Brunswick and Newfoundland are the two dominating teams and at 7:00pm they finally went head to head. Matthew Whittle, of Newfoundland, who scored five tries in the previous match could not break through the New Brunswick defense. It was an extremely well played match by both teams. Despite being very equally matched Quentin Chown Quispamsis left his mark, scoring the only Try in the Match and leading New Brunswick to a 5-Nil Victory. This place New Brunswick in the 1st place position going into Day 2.

If you are interested in seeing what you can offer please contact Mike Muggeridge or Andrew Russell. One item that we are currently looking for assistance with is the construction of a new set of goal posts for the MacAfee field.
